Looking back at these covers, I think Charice is the sure winner. Just look at the way she handles the mic.

in terms of authenticity, i think danyl is the best. the others are so similar the way they sang it, so not original. charice was great, but i don’t know, if louis said that danyl was overconfident, then charice was super overconfident, and for me the voice didn’t fit the age
What I do is I listen to the audio without looking at the video at all. It turns out (for me) Charice sounds really good. The others are worthy also but Charice’s version simply blows me away.
Bianca Ryan is my favorite singer, on this song she sings it with the heart and soul that would seem impossible for an 11 year old to have! But she has it!
And she has the abundant vocal chops required of this song. She performs it with just the right amount of emotional intensity too, no “over the top” theatrics that so many singers are guilty of with this song. It’s the brilliance and charm that Bianca showed here that won her America’s Got Talent and the $1 million prize in 2006! And she is an even better performer today.
